MAYFORCE is looking for a Architect Global Transaction Filtering and Name Screening and earn up too 6400 (36 hours).


What will you do?
Would you like to join our young and driven team in our challenge to help protect the bank and our customers worldwide against all kind of Sanction and CDD violations? As a Global Transaction Filtering and Name Screening Solution Architect, you can make a difference by helping us ensure we monitor the correct information and focus on the right data and create excellent models to find and prevent these violations. As a Solution Architect Global Transaction Filtering and Name Screening
you make a difference by future proofing our landscape, working closely together with our business, business architect, the squads and other areas and domains in a global context as we have global services with lots of global stakeholders and integration with global applications and processes.

You and your job
Translating business and IT requirements into a functional design and IT roadmap that fits into the (enterprise) architecture. Using your excellent knowledge of architectural principles, while cooperating with both Business and IT in the role of Solution Architect.

Practical Examples

  • Writing a Project Start Architecture for new systems or updating these due to changes
  • Designing solutions for an on premise to Cloud Interface
  • Continue implementing new SAAS solution for Global Name Screening
  • Continue implementing new Global Transaction Filtering solution
  • Working with the squads to design solutions for complicated issues

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Continue implementing target architecture solutions on both Global Transaction Filtering & Name Screening
  • Designing solutions to complex problems with the Squads in and outside the Area
  • Being a sparring partner for Product Owners, IT, Business, SAAS vendor and other stakeholders

You and your talent

  • Academic working and intellectual level (BSc or MSc degree, e.g. Computer Science).
  • A broad experience with the IT-landscape in the financial sector. Preferable experienced on Compliance topics;
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar function (IT architect, information mgr, consultant);
  • Proven experience in IT-architecture principles and improving continuity of IT-services;
  • Practical experience with architecture methods and techniques (e.g. Archimate, DYA, TOGAF);
  • Relevant experience with Agile, Scrum, Lean, DevOps, SAFe in the ICT sector and financial services;
  • Broader knowledge/experience on Cloud principles, Big Data solutions, Various database concepts (e.g. Oracle, Postgress, SQL, MariaDB, GraphDB and Azure Synapse Analytics), Apache, Software architecture, Security principles, Interface concepts, Risk management concepts, Development- & Test methods;
  • You have a helicopter view: overseeing a wide domain and any consequences certain (design) decisions have;
  • On the other hand you are not afraid to ‘get your hands dirty’ and become involved in complex analysis and implementation questions;
  • Good communicator: ability to talk to senior management, business experts as well as developers and other team members;
  • You have a pro-active mind-set and you take ownership;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (preferable) languages.
