Product Manager Foundation - backend
You know that reliability, quality and consistency are key to a fantastic customer experience. Squads, stuck in cumbersome organizational and DevOps processes, are unable to achieve this. It is your mission to relieve squads in our digital channels from all the gnarly overhead!

What will you do?
Foundational services of our Online Platform facilitate the engineering journey for over 200+ squads. As Product Manager foundation - backend, you are enclosing core DevOps capabilities as a service to squads all over the company. You constantly remove waste and automate the most troublesome DevOps processes. You will propagate the vision, bring it alive and ensure the adoption within the bank (and beyond).

• Improve the basic quality of our DevOps capabilities;
• Reduce friction in usage of our DevOps capabilities;
• Ensure adoption of our DevOps capabilities as a service.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Create and propagate a vision and strategy, which is in line with the goals of Online Platform, within the bank.
• Development a strong position in the bank and create maintainable operating model to continuous improve, reduce friction and ensure adaption of DevOps capabilities as a service by input of our users.
• Investigate opportunities and create propositions to further utilize the DevOps capabilities.

You work as part of the department Digital Platform Foundation, together with 5 other product managers and around 70 developers, on the internal development platform; Online Platform. You will work closely with our developers, our architects, the users of your services (over 200 product owners, their developers and solution architects in all tribes of the bank) and suppliers (among others our enterprise & engineering tech domain).

Job requirements:

• + 2 years of product manager experience.
• Experience with microservice architecture, application development and automation.
• Focus on system adoption and success (outcomes), rather than technical deliverables (outputs).
• Proactive approach in improving solutions, embracing challenge.
• Organizational skills, create structure and purpose.
• Ability to present convincing value propositions.
